I agree with Earl that the instances seem very, very short. Within minutes of stepping foot in the Howling Fjord, I was recruited into healing for Utgarde Keep. In there I replaced my first epic with a blue boss drop and the instance seemed over before I knew it. One thing they did different in WotLK than TBC is that they have now made it much harder to just instance grind to level. You still get good xp (1-2K for most mobs) but they are still so short. I think that Blizzards wanted people to actually see the content rather than blow through things.

Also, as Matt said, the quests have more meaning to them in this expansion. No more “Go out and kill 20 of those guys for me because I said so” quests. The new achievements also help out because they let you know exactly how many more quests you have left to do in an area. By completing all the quests in a zone, you get an achievement, which if you are truly hardcore could eventually lead to the Loremaster achievement. This is done by doing ALL the quests in ALL the zones … Azeroth, Outland, and Northrend.

All in all I am happy with the new expansion up to this point. The ganking gets a bit annoying once in a while but hey, that’s what I get for rolling on a PVP server. If any alliance read this … going out of your way to gank a holy priest does not make you awesome.

Sadly, I can’t help but keep in mind the fact that some things passed today such as (more than likely) Prop. 8 in California, Prop. 102 in Arizona and Florida Amendment 2… I guess it’s too much to ask that people are allowed to marry a legal adult no matter the gender. I guess happiness isn’t allowed for everyone.

But anyway, let’s hope that Obama can start the turn around on the long road ahead.

Hey Matt, I am most certainly thinking about porting GridBuster to the iPhone, unfortunately I don’t have enough money to buy an iPod touch and the SDK to develop it. So it looks like I’m gonna have to scrape up $400 somewhere to buy them, and maybe, just maybe, I can earn it back. Thanks for the review, I’m very glad you enjoyed it.

You know what sucks? I have an iPhone and I’m a registered App Store developer, but I don’t own a Mac so I’m SOL as far as making apps. Kind of stupid that I have the SDK and everything, but it won’t run on a PC.

Which is odd, you’d think most publishers would ship these out the same time. Guess some retailers would rather lose business than pay for that 1-day shipping option.

Gamestop has it’s release slated for Oct 21st and this close to the release date, I tend to trust their release dates being correct. From what I know, Fable 2 will have the same aging system as in Fable.

Peter Molyneux, the head of Lionhead and creator of Fable 2 has said that a PC version is likely to come out “a while” after Fable 2’s 360 release, but not to hold him to it.

Also on a side note. Is there any woman in this country dumb enough to not realize that McCain choosing Palin is just an attempt to get the women’s vote now that Hillary’s out of the race. It’s so obvious I would be insulted if I was a woman to think that McCain thinks so little of me.
