Why do they have to bring out stuff like this when my bank account is dry? and why oh why do they have to make limited amounts… Matt is definitely a sad panda.
With the unique color scheme of black helmet and red visor, the Phazon Suit is awarded after defeating the Omega Pirate.
Both Samus’ suit and gun are infected with pure Phazon. This gives the Phazon Suit an ability to protect Samus from the deadly effects of the deadly blue substance and shoot the Phazon Beam when standing in pools of Phazon.
Just when Metroid Prime is defeated, the Phazon Suit is stolen and used to create one of Samus’ greatest enemies, Dark Samus!
First 4 Figures is extremely proud to present the ultimate version of the Samus Aran’s Phazon Suit.
First 4 Figures has used the official game files in order to create an extremely accurate recreation of the Phazon suit, with pose inspiration taken from official Metroid artwork.
Looks incredible on its own and really completes a display when put together with the Varia suit and Gravity suit statues.
We completely reengineered the original Varia suit model to make the Phazon suit by casting it entirely in transparent resin, adding over 25 LED lights through the suit and finished it off by adding a mirror base which really shows off the lights. When the lights are turned off, an internal IC chip allows for the lights to fade out slowly.
The statue is hand finished and hand painted with metallic paints to give an authentic representation of the suits. Comes packed in a foam interior full colored box with a card of authenticity.
The Phazon Suit is highly limited at just 1500 pieces worldwide.
Seriously is this so awesome it merits the $225 price tag or am I just overly geeky?

No, your 12 year old mind isn’t taking over your consciousness… Today in Odaiba, Japan as part of the 30th anniversary of the Gundam franchise they have erected and completed a full size Gundam. They’ve done such a good job on it that it looks like it may just have a little walk in no time. For those of you that don’t know, Mobile Suit Gundam is a manga and anime icon in Japan that over the past 30 years has spawned at least 20 different shows spanning different time lines of events all centered around these “Mecha” in the show. You could also say that Gundam is the pivotal reason Japan is currently on the forefront of Robotics technology in general.

Wow… so I thought I’d watch the live Microsoft press event right now, but the streams are all totally retarded and lagged to hell. G4’s “JustinTV” feed is at least doing something, but is unwatchable since it’s lagged to hell. IGN’s live feed page won’t even load.
Ugh, you’d think big companies like IGN and G4 could handle something live a live stream even if there’s 100,000 people watching it at the same time.

Want to go to a post-apocalyptic future where mankind clings to the remnants of a dead world? I can already taste the irradiated water now. Careful of the ghouls, some may like you a little too much and chew your face off. Oh and mind the insects, they ate the biology nerd and a few teachers on their way through mutation. What follows is my average gamer review of the PC version of Fallout 3.

I don’t think there’s a single person that reads this blog that doesn’t remember feeding quarters into arcade games when they were younger. There was this place close to where I grew up called “Oliver’s” that was owned by a local guy that started renting video games and only video games to kids like myself at the time. That place is long gone, but the memories of entire afternoons I spent there playing Mortal Kombat 2 still linger. I could own anyone at that game… well except for one guy named Colby and I wanted to beat him sooo badly mainly because he was a dick to me for no good reason. I have stories like that and I’ll bet you have yours. I’m also willing to bet that for most, these stories center around Street Fighter 2 and all its iterations. Take a trip back with me as we remember this amazing arcade fighter and its newly released sequel.

We all loved Resident Evil 4, right? It broke through a lot of issues gamers had with games such as not being able to open a wooden door even when you’re carrying a shotgun. Well RE5 keeps what was ground-breaking about RE4, but breaks a lot of other things they shouldn’t have changed…

Sorry this one’s a little late. I ran into some issues with the podcasting plug-in I use and it caused any images I upload to the site to be formatted incorrectly. But it’s all fixed and as a bonus you should notice the site is loading much faster now.
So anyways, I’ve been awaiting this one for a long time, ever since Sony announced the PS3 back at the 2005 E3. Now I have it, I’ve played it thoroughly and found it’s not the perfect FPS Sony was hoping it would be. My review of Killzone 2…

Yeah, I know… The last thing you heard from me was me spewing bilge about more frequent posts… now almost a month and a half later, I decide to write a review. Yeah, I know… that happens when you’re about to move to the East Coast, lose your job and have kids. Although I’m not trying to win back your love with just one pitiable review, no. Over the next four days, I’m going to be publishing 4 reviews! Take that! HA HA! Yes, I found time to play some recently released games and I’ll be giving you my opinions starting with this, Pokémon Platinum.

Here we go with another holiday ‘08 release I hadn’t picked up until now. Yes I know this is a slightly old review but bear with me, I’m an unemployed 28-year-old guy with no influence in the gaming industry. If I got a review copy of a soon to be released game for free, I’d probably get delusional and think I was N’Gai Croal (Games Journalist for Newsweek) or something. Anyways let’s get on with it…
